A Social Media Valentine’s Day

Everyone is gearing up for the big day tomorrow. Yes, it’s Valentine’s Day that I’m talking about. Don’t panic if you forgot as this time around, social media is ready to help you in many ways. With web technologies, it is just so easy to meet, propose, plan your date (and break up too).

Here are some lovey dovey tips on how you can make the best use of Social Media this Valentine’s Day:

  1. Searching for great Valentine’s deals on a daily deals site would be the best option. They have the best last minute deals
  2. Sending flowers is a passé but sending it to her workplace where the co-workers take notice and get jealous will win you brownie points. What’s better way to find her office address than her Linkedin profile?
  3. Facebook and Twitter are the best places to ask for ideas on how to make your day worthwhile
  4. Before booking the venue, reading reviews on Foursquare and Yelp would definitely help to make your dinner date extra special
  5. What about people who are single? Social media can also help them find their dream date. Logging on to online dating sites like eHarmony to find a match is a good way to go about it

Here is a quick video that explains how you can make the best use of social media to enjoy a perfect Valentine’s Day (Kudos to @Equalman). Happy Valentine’s day!
