1. Cookifi | India (Startup Profile)
Cookifi is an on-demand chef hiring service with three models. One is Cookifi Subscription, which is for daily needs paid for on a monthly basis. Secondly, Cookify on Demand, where the cook will arrive for one hour a slot. Lastly, Cookifi Experience in which users get a luxury experience, such as a cook with a live counter.
2. Student.com | China
Student.com is like an AirBnb for international students, featuring listings that could helps students find accommodation abroad. The company announced a combined series B and C round led by VY Capital and including participation from Horizons Ventures (Li Ka-shing’s tech investment fund), Xiaomi’s Hugo Barra, and Spotify founders Daniel Ek and Martin Lorentzon.
3. HealthifyMe | India (Startup Profile)
Bangalore-based HealthifyMe launched a a calorie counter app that includes local food in libraries complete with a breakdown of the nutrition information within those foods that helps users plan future meals. The startup has also partnered with three hospitals – one in Bangalore and two in Delhi. The idea is to help patients with diabetes and other lifestyle disorders extend their care beyond a hospital with the app’s tracking capabilities.
4. Call Levels | Singapore (Startup Profile)
Call Levels wants to help traders make better decisions by providing them an app to stay up-to-date with movements in the financial markets.Traders can set custom notifications to keep track of prices for financial assets they’re interested in. They will be alerted instantly when those change or reach a desired level.
5. Applozic | India (Startup Profile)
Applozic is an SaaS software development kit (SDK) that adds messaging and file share capabilities to any Android, iOS, or web app. This comes in the form of a few lines of code that a developer can add to his or her app to introduce the messaging function, which can be helpful for any business that connects two or more unrelated people through an app or website.
6. Jandi | South Korea
Jandi is a workplace productivity platform localised for Asian teams. It now introduced a feature called Jandi Connect, which allows integration of work tools like Google Calendar, Trello, JIRA, and GitHub, on top of Google Drive and Dropbox, which were already integrated. Webhooks allow other third-party tools to be integrated with Jandi
