Asia will get Dark Souls II The Lost Crowns DLC starting July

Three new DLC chapters have been announced for Dark Souls II, and they’re set to invade your consoles in the second half of this year.

The first chapter, titled Crown of the Sunken King, will be available in Asia on July 22; Crown of the Old Iron King will follow on August 26, and Crown of the Ivory King will round it up on September 24. There will also be a Season Pass offered to PC gamers in Asia for the entire The Lost Crowns trilogy on Steam.

Each individual chapter for consoles is expected to cost S$12.50 (about $9.95) while the Season Pass will go for S$31.70 (about $25.20). These prices are before tax.

Crown of the Sunken King will send players after crowns owned by Drangleic’s King Vendrick, and will feature a world completely different from what you know now. Your quest will take you far underground into a cavern filled with stepped pyramids. This segment from a Bandai Namco press release should get your heart racing:

It is said that one of the ancient crowns lay buried deep within these dark caverns; but surely such a valued item cannot sit unguarded. Players that seek adversity and glory will be rewarded with a crown that holds the strength of lords from times long past.
