AppWorks unveils 12 startups in demo day of latest accelerator cohort

Taiwan-based AppWorks Accelerator has unveiled 12 startups that completed its 24th program during a demo day. In total, there were 24 startups who joined the program from 12 different markets, including Indonesia, Thailand, the US, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

In a statement, the accelerator said that half of the founders in this batch are building Web3 projects.

Founded by VC firm AppWorks, the accelerator program opens a new batch every six months. To date, it has helped 457 startups that have posted a total of US$17.5 billion in annual revenue. Of those participants, 93 of them are active Web3 startups.

It is currently accepting applications for the 25th batch, and it plans to focus on founders of AI and Web3 firms, as well as Southeast Asia-related startups with decentralized autonomous organizations.

Here is a list of the startups featured in the 24th cohort’s first online showcase:

  • Envio, an Indonesia-based digital logistics and supply chain enabler for SMEs.
  • The Iterative Collective, a Singapore-based indie game publisher, developer, and incubator.
  • Preteeth AI, a Taiwan-based AI firm that focuses on dental treatment.
  • Storius, a Hong Kong-based geotagged audio sharing app.
  • Labfront, a US-based health data analytics tool.
  • Protico, a chatting network that allows users to show their Web3 identities and assets.
  • PaperPlane by Flying Club, an NFT project focused on real-life drinking experiences.
  • BitShine, a crypto on-ramp and off-ramp service provider.
  • Aibou, a startup that helps SMEs scale with automation and data insights.
  • Alphalytics: a blockchain-powered data analytics platform.
  • Blueberry Tech, a business aggregator app.
  • ZTO, a Web3 social media platform.
