
Start-Up@Singapore: One Night Stand Event in Singapore.
Well, you saw the teaser last week, and now it is the details for the event entitled “One Night Stand”. This event is just any clubbing event but also a networking event bringing together entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and business people for both fun and business.
Held for very first time in Asia, Start-Up@Singapore is proud to present “One Night Stand” – Mixing Business with Pleasure on the 6th April 2006 at Club Momo, a business idea pitching event emceed by Mr. Robin Leong, Media Corp Artiste and an entrepreneur himself.
5 selected semifinalists from the business plan competition will be given the opportunity to go on stage to present their business ideas to the audience in the club. They will in turn be bombarded by a panel of judges, very much in the American Idol style.
Besides being entertained by interesting ideas and comments from the judges, the audience can participate by asking questions and choosing the eventual winner. They will also enjoy exotic and salsa dance performances from Groove Private Limited, meet new people, drink and have fun. As a unique eye-catching, attention grabbing hybrid event, it will thrill the audience while also raising general public awareness towards entrepreneurial activities in Singapore.Short intro of 100 words here.
