Flipkart enters grocery space with Shopsy
Ecommerce platform Flipkart is adding groceries to its suite of products on its social commerce platform Shopsy.
It will feature around 6,000 products under 230 categories, which will be available for delivery to resellers across 700 cities.
This move will pit Flipkart against Dealshare, Meesho, and Udaan in the grocery space.
Open acquires neo-banking platform Finin for US$10 million
Digital bank Open will strengthen its cloud native enterprise with the acquisition of competitor Finin in a US$10 million cash-and-stock deal.
Currently, Open powers nearly 2 million small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and processes over US$24 billion in annualized transactions.
Founded in 2017, Open runs BankingStack, a cloud-native SME banking platform for financial institutions. Zwitch, a no-code embedded finance platform that is also operated by Open, will also benefit from the acquisition.
Dailyhunt launches video app Publicvibe
