Ecommerce is, of late, moving towards more niche markets. Parents can now indulge themselves in stores dedicated to products for their children, just like they would when purchasing clothes or electronics.

Orami is the result of two startups – Moxy and Bilna – merging. Moxy was a lifestyle website based in Thailand that sold products made for women. Bilna sold mom and baby products.

Orami has over 8,600 products of various brands for moms, babies and children. Orami also has children’s toys – selling more than 3,800 on its website. What’s more, the site offers discounts and special offers aplenty to attract more customers.

The website provides articles about parenting, career advice, healthy recipes, and more in a column called “Inspiration”.

To ease payment, Orami collaborates with a handful of banks. You can transfer your payment via ATMs, mobile banking, or cash on delivery (no debit or credit cards are accepted on the last method).

Tororo focuses on fulfilling the needs of moms and their newborn babies – from selling pillows for pregnant future moms to creams handling stretch-marks.

Apart from the selection of products, payments, and special discounts, Tororo provides same-day shipping to customers in the Jakarta metro area whenpayment is confirmed before 8 AM. Shipping takes an extra day if payment confirmation exceeds 8 AM. Same-day shipping is free for customers who shop more than US$8.50 and costs another US$0.85 for anything under.

Tororo also provides gift sets to help you wrap products for gifting. The gift sets vary in price, starting as low as US$0.50.

Mothercare Indonesia

Mothercare Indonesia is a well-known name. The company has been prominent in Indonesia since 2005, setting up shop in Mall Taman Anggrek, Jakarta.
