Also done in partnership with public relations firm The Hoffman Agency and content creator company Hepmil Creators’ Network, the initiative will help startups develop their brands and raise awareness for their offerings.
As part of Alpha-X, the Google for Startups Cloud Program will also provide support, such as up to US$200,000 in cloud credits over two years for firms that have received funding up to their series A stages.
Erika Dianasari Go, value creation partner at Alpha JWC, said that the Alpha-X initiative aims to bridge the gap with the VC firm’s network of partners to cover important areas where founders still need support.
The VC firm found that training in the fields of marketing, branding, tech, digital, and content creation is especially important for early-stage founders that need to define their brand strategies on a tighter budget.
Go added that Alpha JWC will continue to onboard more partners for the initiative in the coming months, which will cover other fields.
