Shin was associated with the Klaytn Foundation for nearly 1.5 years. The foundation is a global public blockchain project by South Korean internet giant Kakao.
At the Klaytn Foundation, he focused on building adoption and utility of the Klaytn blockchain across developer, retail, and enterprise groups.
“When the tide is low, it just means we need to be ready for when it comes back again… Klaytn is well positioned for that next wave,” he said in his departure note.
Shin is a former banker who has been involved in several startups globally, especially in the crypto and blockchain sectors.
