Akiba’s Trip 2 for PS4 gets Traditional Chinese version next month

Akiba’s Trip 2, better known as Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed will have its Traditional Chinese Playstation 4 (PS4) version available September 3, 2014, at a suggested retail price of S$69.90 ($55.90).

Developed by Acquire, Akiba’s Trip 2 is the sequel to Akiba’s Trip for the Playstation Portable. As its name implies, it is set in Akihabara, a district in Japan. More than 130 stores in the district appear on the game, together with their real names.

Players are put up to the task of stopping the Magaimono, a group of vampire-like creatures that attack the citizens of Akihabara. The only way to defeat them is by exposing the Magaimono to sunlight, and you can only do this by stripping them of their clothes. The story depends on the players and the choices they make in the game, granting them full control of the storyline.

Since it will be on the PS4, improvements can be expected of Akiba’s Trip 2. For example, visual enhancements will be applied into the game’s buildings, streets, and characters. Loading times will be shorter as well, which means players will have an easier time moving across maps and watching cutscenes. The number of NPCs has been greatly increased as well, giving the Akihabara in-game a livelier feel.

There will still be both free and paid DLC in Akiba’s Trip 2, one of which is the swimsuit set. Once a paid DLC, the swimsuit set will now be included into the game for free. There will also be special costumes based off other games such as Ragnarok Space Odyssey, Disgaea, and The Legend of Heroes among others.

Akiba’s Trip 2 will also feature a visual editor, which will allow players to change the visual elements of the game. With it, players will be able to create their own version of Akihabara. Better than that, Akiba’s Trip 2 is fully-compatible with the PS4’s broadcasting capabilities, and will allow audiences to interact with players via chat commands while a stream is live.
