In brief: AirAsia removes all flights from Traveloka

• AirAsia has withdrawn all its flights from Indonesian travel platform Traveloka following the “unexplained disappearance” of AirAsia Indonesia flights from the site for the second time in two weeks.
• AirAsia said its flights first disappeared from Traveloka on February 14 to 17. Traveloka cited the airline’s 13-hour system downtime as the reason, but AirAsia flights disappeared for a second time on March 1 without clarification.
• “The exclusion of several AirAsia Indonesia flights by Traveloka is a clear display of preferential treatment and an act of favoritism,” said Dendy Kurniawan, president director of AirAsia Indonesia.
• Traveloka said that the company regretted AirAsia’s decision, and has also reached out to the airline “to open a dialog that will provide the best solutions for all relevant parties.”
