In 2019, Dennis Yap founded Singapore-based AI Seer with a specific concern: misinformation is not just a policy failure, but a systems-engineering problem. The goal was to build an infrastructure for truth in an online world that rewards speed over accuracy.

😟 Problem

Online information moves faster than it can be verified, allowing confident falsehoods to spread more easily than careful truths. Research from MIT found that false news spreads about six times faster than verified news on social platforms.

This rapid spread can confuse millions. A 2023 Pew Research Center study also revealed that 64% of American adults feel that fabricated information causes significant confusion about basic facts.

The problem directly affects students, journalists, investors, and everyday internet users who rely on fast-moving information. Yet the digital ecosystem rewards speed and engagement over accuracy, offering little infrastructure that encourages slowing down to check sources or add context.

💡 Solution

AI Seer builds tools that verify claims in real time, embedding accuracy directly into online platforms. Instead of providing a single answer, its products show what is verifiable, what is misleading, and what evidence supports each conclusion.

The company’s verification stack includes several core components:

  • Facticity.AI: The core engine that breaks down content into individual claims. It then cross-references them against credible sources in real time.
  • ArAIstotle: A public-facing agent that applies Facticity’s logic on platforms like X. It steps into conversations to provide sourced corrections and context.
  • MSRD: A system that analyzes non-invasive human signals like heart rate and pupillary response. This adds another layer of credibility assessment beyond content analysis.
  • $FACY: A token that creates economic incentives for accuracy. It rewards users who contribute meaningful corrections and provide better sources.

📊 Market size

AI Seer targets a segment of “power info users” within large platforms like X and Telegram. These include creators, students, researchers, and investors who face direct consequences from misinformation.

The company estimates this group at around 30 million people. Capturing just 3% of these users at a US$10 monthly subscription would represent about US$108 million in annual recurring revenue.
