How 9GAG went from memes to media empire

You’ve probably heard of 9GAG. Hell, you’ve probably browsed it today. Despite being all fun and memes, the startup means serious business. The site started as a side project where people read and share jokes from the internet, and now it has gained popularity in Europe and America. 9GAG is also one of the few startups that have gone through both 500 startups and Y Combinator in Silicon Valley.
