On September 8 and 9, Tech in Asia Tokyo 2015 brought together 1,364 tech-lovers for a two-day conference full of keynotes, inspiring fireside chats, and record number of startup booths at Bootstrap Alley. It was the second edition of the yearly event in Tokyo.
The conference culminated in the Startup Arena pitch battle where Mana.bo emerged victorious, before we shifted the crowd to one of Tokyo’s hottest clubs as part of Night Crawl, our post-conference networking party. It was a night to remember.
We were especially stoked to welcome Ben Horowitz of a16z as our speaker this year, one of the industry’s most reputable and successful venture capitalists. Om Malik, tech-journalist-turned-venture-capitalist behind the respected and now defunct tech blog GigaOm came on stage to share pearls of wisdom gleaned from his personal journey.
Enough said – here’s an overview of the conference, courtesy of our awesome friends from Piktochart.
