Deliverect, a global software company that connects food establishments with digital ordering and delivery platforms, has named Joey Cheung as its market launcher for Asia.
She will spearhead the company’s growth in the region, where it plans to help restaurants streamline their online ordering solutions.
Cheung previously worked at food delivery firm Deliveroo, one of Deliverect’s partners, as well as at F&B brand Dough Bros.
According to a report from Leatherhead Food Research, the Asian F&B market is expected to reach US$277 billion by 2024. In Southeast Asia alone, YCP Solidiance expects the food delivery market to rake in US$49 billion in 2030.
Deliverect works with over 45,000 restaurants worldwide, including Burger King, KFC, and Domino’s Pizza. Its services are available in 42 markets, having integrated with platforms such as Grab, Foodpanda, and Square.
Last year, Deliverect raised US$150 million in a series D round, valuing the company at US$1.4 billion.
