In brief: India wearable startup gets $30m from Japan’s Mitsui
Mumbai-based wearable startup Goqii has raised over US$30 million in its latest equity financing round, which was led by Japanese conglomerate Mitsui. Denlow Investment Trust and crypto investment firm Galaxy Digital also participated in the round.
The startup will enter Japan next year and work extensively with Mitsui, said Goqii CEO Vishal Gondal. “There will be multiple synergies with the Mitsui group, within and outside India,” he shared.
