Discovery leads the charge into the week, with discovery apps for goods and experiences taking some of the week’s first funding. A grocery connection app comes onto the scene, and another bike taxi app has arisen to compete with Uber and Ola, among others. Check out our four startup picks for this Monday.
Reach

Mobile app Reach, which allows users to discover and share files, has raised US$500,000 in a round led by Japanese VC firm Rebright Partners. Early stage investment firm Sol Primero, Nearbuy CEO Ankur Warikoo, Helpchat CEO Ankur Singla, and a group of angel investors have also participated.
Reach helps users discover music, apps, and free games from their network of friends. As long as someone in the network has a particular song, app, or game, a Reach user can enjoy it as well.
Founded by Akshay Pruthi, Abhay Pruthi, Ashish Kumar, and Ayush Verma, the app launched its beta version in March 2015. It claims to have over 50,000 users with more than 16 million files on its network.

Now
As Uber and Ola have spread into the bike taxi space, a bike taxi and hyperlocal delivery app has emerged with some fresh funding. Now has bagged US$500,000 in angel funding from Jaipuria Group’s managing director Ruchirans Jaipuria and Anuj Sanghi, director of Supreme Motors. Ruchirans and Anuj have already invested US$200,000 – the remaining funding will come when the company hits certain milestones.
Now, run by Noida-based TapTap Meals, provides two-wheeled vehicle rides and facilitates delivery for individuals and businesses on bike taxis. It launched in October 2015 and claims to do 250 trips per day in the NCR area.
Founded by IIT Kanpur alumni Vivek Pandey, Bharat Khandelwal, Sushant Arora, and [Gadzet](http://www.gadzet.in] founder Parteek Singla, the startup previously raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from Maple Capital Advisors’ startup accelerator.
Ninjacart

Ninjacart, an online marketplace that connects farmers and brands to retailers, has raised US$3 million in series A funding in a round led by Accel Partners. Qualcomm Ventures, M&S Partners in Singapore, and Zop Smart have also participated in the round.
