Early stage funds ruled today in India. Angel funding and seed funds helped startups spread their wings and blossom, just in time for spring. Often, with early stage funds, it’s hard to tell how companies will fare in the future, but these industries – healthtech, fintech, and concierge delivery – are strong bets. Will they make it through to the next stage? Check out these four companies that received funding and let us know.
Healthenablr

Bamasish Paul and Avishek Mukherjee, co-founders of Healthenablr
Healthenablr, a mobile healthtech portal that connects users to doctors, raised US$800,000 in seed funding from a group of investors, including some in Silicon Valley and Hong Kong. More about the investors was not disclosed.
Potential patients can use Healthenablr’s Android or iOS apps, access their website, or call in to connect with doctors. Like Practo, users can find doctors to visit physically, but people can also find doctors free at that moment to question over video chat or a real-time text chat feature. The mobile consulting feature does for a range of doctors and nutritionists what startups like JustDoc do. iMMi Life also connects patients with doctors but specializes in cardiologists.

Live chat appointment costs start at US$0.15, video appointments begin at US$0.75, and seeing a doctor in person starts at around US$1.50. E-wallets like Paytm are accepted. Patients can upload their medical reports onto Healthenablr’s interface and receive prescriptions as long as they at least talk to their doctors through a video appointment.
Founded by Bamasish Paul and Avishek Mukherjee in September 2015, the startup currently operates out of Mumbai and Kolkata. It plans on expanding to at least eight more cities, said CEO Bamasish in a statement.
“At Healthenablr, our goal is not just to provide doctors with a way to digitalize their practice, but to provide them with the best, most cutting edge technology, making it easier for them to manage their practice online,” said CTO Avishek in a statement.

Gurgaon-based on-demand concierge service Qlivery, run by invexGO Solutions, has raised US$230,000 from Hong Kong-based Swastika Company. Swastika Company has also invested in Delhi-based Pocketin, a real-time restaurant deals company.
Co-founder Rohit Pansari said that the investment will be used for customer acquisition, upping the startup’s tech infrastructure, and implementing artificial intelligence into the portal.
