1. Zomato | India
Zomato is an India-based restaurant review site. This week it continued its global expansion to five new cities in three countries, and rolled out a site revamp with a new look and more social features.
2. Nusatrip | Indonesia
Launched in March, NusaTrip claims to be the first Indonesian online travel agency to offer online flight booking worldwide because it covers not only domestic airlines and hotels but also international flight services and hotels.
3. Wantgo | Japan
Wantgo is an events finder site that has launched and rolled out its service in Singapore this week. There are plans to expand the events listings to other Southeast Asian countries later this year.
4. Ctaare | Australia
Indo-Australian startup Ctaare is an online boutique for exclusive Indian designer-wear for women, men, and children, aimed at shoppers around the world who are interested in Indian clothing or cutting-edge fusion designs from Indian designers. There’s the option of buying custom-made or ready-to-wear clothing.
5. iMoney | Malaysia
Malaysia-based iMoney is a finance product comparision site that further expanded its Southeast Asia reach with launches in Hong Kong, Thailand, and Indonesia.
6. Woof Woof Studio | Thailand
Bangkok-based startup Woof Woof Studio aims to create apps for digital parenting. Its first animated children’s story-app for iPads is Stone Carver, a classic Taoist tale of a stone-carver who always wishes to be someone else and finally finds happiness as himself.
