Need a startup to help you figure out all of your ecommerce site’s delivery and payment issues? A logistics reconciliation startup tops our list of funded startups today. A mobile app company and an ecommerce site also make an appearance.
Don’t Scratch Your Head
When you pay an ecommerce site, the money is split up into categories that pay for delivery, payment charges (like if you pay with a credit card), and commission. Then, the rest of the money is sent to the seller. When processed for multiple orders each day, keeping track of these payments can become a bit of a headache.
Ahmedabad-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup Don’t Scratch Your Head (DSYH) helps keep track of what these payments are and where they’re going, and it has raised US$250,000 from Venture Catalysts, among other investors.
Venture Catalysts Surat operations managing partner Gaurav Singhvi and Mumbai-based Zaffiro Ventures led the round.
DSYH provides a window for sellers to keep track of different pricing and delivery issues. It was founded in August last year by Suraj Vazirani and Sumit Karanji, and accelerated at Reliance Industries’ GenNext Hub, powered by Microsoft Accelerator India.

Mumbai-based AppsDaily, a mobile app development and distribution company, has raised US$2 million in bridge funding from existing investors Kalaari Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, Russian venture capital fund ru-Net, and Zodius Technology Opportunities Fund. Ambrosia Infotech also participated.
Founded by siblings Arun Menon and Ajay Menon in 2008, AppsDaily’s products include mobile anti-virus software, insurance, backup and privacy solutions, and games. Arun is a graduate of IIT-Bombay, and Ajay previously founded Ambrosia Infotech, a product engineering and consulting services provider.
HappilyUnmarried
Online classifieds site Info Edge (India), which runs hiring portal Naukri and real estate website 99acres, has poured US$740,000 more into Delhi-based Happily Unmarried Marketing. Happily Unmarried Marketing runs the site HappilyUnmarried, which sells a variety of items through a combination of online and offline channels.
Established in 2003 by Rahul Anand and Rajat Tuli, HappilyUnmarried works with music festivals, and is involved with corporate projects that involve branding, communication, interiors, and marketing. Under its brand name Ustraa, it sells products geared toward men.
