India’s fashion ecommerce scene got a little shake-up today, while another acquisition in the tech hiring space and a deals portal that’s rebranded to focus on students in their teens and twenties landed funding. Check out three startups that are making waves.
Myntra

Myntra, which operates under Flipkart Group, has acquired Jabong, the third-largest online fashion retailer in the country, from Global Fashion Group.
The deal went through for about US$70 million in cash from Global Fashion Group – a far cry from talks in early 2015, when Jabong was trying to sell to Amazon for between US$700 million and US$1 billion. Since then, staff shuffles and a general lack of cash for the fashion ecommerce company changed its outlook.
LetsCatchUp

The acquisition, which is GetLinks’ first, will help it reach out to tech talent in India and connect tech professionals to tech career opportunities, said GetLinks in a statement.
LetsCatchUp was founded by Vinay Pahlajani in 2014 and is backed by JFDI.Asia.
Founded by Djoann Fal, Pichaya Srifar, Keenan Kwok, and Polpat Songthamjitti, GetLinks is funded by CyberAgent Ventures, Japan. It was accelerated by 500 Startups, based in Silicon Valley, and is headquartered in the US. The startup operates in Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore, in addition to India.
