1. Attero Recycling | India

Roorkee-based Attero Recycling offers end-to-end ewaste recycling solutions, and was was one of the nine waste innovators picked by NASA in 2012 for its initiative called Launch: Beyond Waste. The startup is revealed to have raised US$16.5 million series C round of funding led by Forum Synergies (India).


2. MyDoc | Singapore

Founded by doctors, Singapore startup MyDoc offers a web and mobile service where patients can consult doctors online and seamlessly share their personal health data, with hopes that would result in lower healthcare costs. The startup recently announced that it has attracted investors. It completed an early stage funding round of an undisclosed amount led by August Capital Partners, a venture capital fund based in the same country. Spring SEEDS Capital, a Singapore government-related fund, also joined the round.


3. PatSnap | Singapore

PatSnap to become the ‘Amazon’ of Innovation, providing a platform to accelerate the speed of innovation and discovery for inventors, research institutes and companies, It has a search engine that makes finding patents easier, visualizing search results as 3D topographical maps. The startup has already gotten over 500 clients worldwide, including NASA, IBM, Pepsi, Xiaomi, and Vodafone. This is enough to satisfy investors: it just raised a series A round led by Vertex Venture Partners,


4. EventRegist | Japan

EventRegist is a one-stop-shop for creating events, selling tickets, and managing attendees. The online service (with companion apps for several platforms) also allows event planners to choose a custom URL for their event page, add widgets to their personal or business site, view real-time event data, and more.


5. Hipvan | Singapore

HipVan, a Singapore-based ecommerce startup that sells “great designs” in home and furnishings, fashion, art, and other categories, has completed its seed round led by LionRock Capital and Skype co-founder Toivo Annus,


6. TrustedCompany | Malaysia

TrustedCompany is a Malaysia-based online store reviews platform. The company recently launched a contest in Malaysia called the Trust Awards 2014. The purpose of the award is to help customers in Malaysia identify reliable and reputable online retailers.
