Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast announced its entry into the Indian market with the launch of its VF 6 and VF 7 models at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi.

These models are VinFast’s first right-hand drive EVs designed specifically for India.

Sales for both vehicles are expected to start in the second half of 2025, as the company plans to appoint dealers in major Indian cities.

In addition, the company has begun construction of an electric vehicle manufacturing facility in the state of Tamil Nadu in southern India to enhance local production.
