VinFast to supply 3,000 EVs to Mexico to cut emissions
VinFast, a Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Durango Drivers’ Union in Mexico.
The agreement outlines the potential purchase of 3,000 VF 5 electric cars and 300 electric buses for Durango City.
This collaboration aims to replace the current gasoline-powered public transport fleet.
VinFast, along with its affiliate V-Green, plans to develop a charging infrastructure in partnership with the Confederation of Mexico Workers (CTM).
The switch to electric vehicles is expected to reduce carbon emissions and operational costs.
