VinFast, a Vietnamese EV manufacturer, will construct a second production facility to meet the growing demand for its small and mid-sized models.

Located in Vietnam’s Ha Tinh province, this new plant is expected to produce 300,000 vehicles annually in its initial phase, similar to its Haiphong factory’s capacity.

The facility is slated to begin operations in July 2025.

The upcoming factory will manufacture the VF 3 and VF 5 models for both domestic and international markets.

VinFast also plans to establish assembly plants in Indonesia and India.
