Samsung union approves 5.1% wage increase
The National Samsung Electronics Union (NSEU) has approved a wage increase of 5.1% for its members in 2025.
This decision follows an agreement reached last month between the union and Samsung Electronics, which required ratification by union members.
The NSEU represents about 36,000 employees, making up roughly 30% of Samsung’s workforce in South Korea.
Additionally, Samsung will provide employees with points for purchasing company products.
The company will also distribute 30 shares of company stock, according to a statement from the company.
