Flipkart co-founder said to sell Ola stake
Sachin Bansal, co-founder of Flipkart, is reportedly in discussions to sell his stake in the ride-hailing company Ola, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Bansal invested US$100 million in Ola in 2019, which was his largest personal investment at an estimated valuation of US$3 billion.
He is now seeking a premium on the sale, valuing the company at around US$4 billion.
This move follows Bansal’s recent exit from Ather Energy, where he sold his stake to Nikhil Kamath of Zerodha.
Reports suggest that he is consolidating resources for his fintech venture, Navi, which has been his primary focus over the past year.
