Ola Consumer, led by Bhavish Aggarwal, has reportedly launched a 10-minute grocery delivery pilot program in select Bengaluru areas, following its earlier testing of quick food delivery services.
The pilot offers groceries and essentials like fruits, vegetables, dairy, meat, and personal care items without delivery fees.
This initiative marks Ola Consumer’s entry into India’s quick commerce market, which saw major players like Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and Zepto collectively generate over US$900 million in revenue during 2023-2024.
Formerly Ola Cabs, Ola Consumer rebranded to expand into ride-hailing, credit services, UPI payments, and e-commerce, and recently became a public limited company ahead of an IPO.
