Apple AI adds Korean support, Find My feature in Korea
Apple has added Korean-language support to its AI system, Apple Intelligence, along with French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.
Apple Intelligence offers features like AI-powered writing tools, photo editing, mail and notification summaries, and voice recording transcription.
The system focuses on user privacy by using on-device processing, with more complex tasks handled via private cloud computing.
The update also introduces Apple’s “Find My” location tracking feature in Korea, which had been unavailable for over a decade since its initial 2010 launch.
Korean users can now use the Find My app on iPhones and iPads, or the Find Devices app on Apple Watches, to locate their devices.
