YouTube Challenges Celebs on Facebook

YouTube has called for a Facebook showdown with top celebrities – Vin Diesel, Megan Fox, Will Smith, Lady Gaga and Adam Sandler.

Rules of this Showdown is Simple:
“…we’re going to pass (no. of fans) these celebs in the next 60 days and if we don’t, we’ll eat humble pie and spotlight video(s) on our homepage for the nonprofit or non-commercial cause of their choosing”

3 days have passed (57 days left!) and YouTube has only increased its fans from 3.1 million to 3.2 million. For YouTube to win this, it may require some sort of miracle.

The current table looks like this:

1. Vin Diesel: 5.4 million

2. Megan Fox: 4.6 million

3. Will Smith: 4.2 million

4. Lady Gaga: 3.5 million

5. Adam Sandler: 3.3 million

6 YouTube: 3.2 million

One thing is for sure. YouTube inspires to be stronger than Vin Diesel, cooler than Will Smith and hotter than Megan Fox.
