I’ve heard a lot about YouTube bus. It sounds adorable and fun. But to some citizens of India who don’t have internet access, YouTube bus becomes a special bonus.
In a blog post, Google India announced that it will have a YouTube bus touring around nine cities in India. The YouTube bus will live stream Olympic Games and at the same time allow folks to learn more about India’s history at the Olympics. Of course, if you have a decent internet speed, you can always catch the live action of the London 2012 Olympic Games via YouTube here.
I admire initiatives like this a lot. It’s super localized and bring great content right up to people’s doorsteps. Sure, not the entire Indians’ doorsteps but kudos to Google for having its YouTube bus touring across nine cities.
Details of the Bus Journey:
- July 26th – 27th: Gurgaon
- July 28th – 29th: Sonipat
- July 30th – 31st: Bhiwani
- August 1st – 2nd: Hissar
- August 4th – 5th: Kurukshetra
