You won’t believe what Japanese gamers can use to keep warm in winter

This Tokyo Game Show, Japan’s BES Co. Ltd will be showcasing three different products designed for the hardcore gamer waiting the winter out in his or her apartment. Do you think you’ll pick any of them up?

The Bocchi Tent

This pop-up tent is a portable gaming pod you can zip yourself into. Also known as the Lonely Tent, it has space enough for a desk, roller chair, and a shelf, and it has meshed windows for ventilation. It’s also supposed to keep you warm in winter, and looks perfect for isolating you from the rest of your family. Well, that one could work.

The tent comes in only black, and has no price listed online. It measures 1.3m x 1.3m x 1.6m.

Hitogata Nebukuro Fleece

Onesies are great for keeping warm, but they always leave your face and hands exposed. The Hitogataka Nebukuro fleece zips all the way up over your head, and has retractable mittens and booties for when you need to grab a controller. Plus, it has a secret “bathroom” flap that negates the need for you to strip when heeding nature’s call. I guess saving on central heating means more money for video games? It comes in seven colors, with no price listed.
