Win a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 when you play the mobile game EndGods
EndGods, a “next-gen Tower Defense mobile game with MOBA PVP elements” from Singapore-based developer SparkJumpers is going to give you a chance to win a brand spanking new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smartphone, just by playing its pre-release tournament for Android.
All you have to do is sit yourself down from 9:00pm to 10:00pm (GMT +8) for ten days to earn ranking points. The highest ranked player will win the smartphone, and you don’t even have to be in Singapore to collect it! The tournament is open to players all over the world. A word of warning from them, though: the game’s PvP happens in real-time, so it’s best that you hop onto your WiFi connection while battling it out.
The ‘Go-B Awakens’ pre-release EndGods tournament will run from January 20, 2014 to January 30, 2014, with the winner decided from the rankings as of 11:00pm (GMT +8) on January 30, 2014.
If you’re wondering if EndGods is worth your time, let’s just say the smartphone certainly is, and the game draws up as a worthy parallel. EndGods has a similar concept to Dota, with players fighting along multiple lanes in one map, but negates the need for you to team up with whiny, angry, prepubescent gamers by letting you have full control of your team.
Players get to pick from the Gods and Demons factions, and have a whole pantheon of heroes to choose from. SparkJumpers’ Asian roots are evident in the game, and it makes for a nice change from the deluge of Western-influenced apps we’re all used to. The game is not yet ready for review, but you can have a go at it via the tournament.
Players can download the game directly or via Testflight. Again, take note – it’s for Android only! You can read the full rules here.
