Hello readers,

An edtech bubble is brewing. Education tech startups are getting funded at record levels in China and India, and Southeast Asia is no exception. While Jakarta-based Ruangguru has risen quickly, Indonesia is developing a thriving ecosystem of its own.

It’s hard for us to keep track of it all. So we decided to scratch our own itch by creating this landscape map of the Indonesian scene.

It turns out that our readers dig it, too. This piece tells you who the key players are and what niches they occupy. Our map is a work in progress, though, so do reach out if you’ve any feedback on how to improve it.
