The International 4 (TI4) is heating up, and so is the hype for it. Ever since the pubstomp listings went live, fans all over Asia have been banding together to make this TI an unforgettable one for their friends and neighbours.
Some pubstomps are ticketed and cost money to enter, some are free but require pre-registration to access. Still others are completely free, or at least, the cost of attending is not listed. To date, these are the countries in Asia that have pubstomps:
- China (3)
- India (6)
- Indonesia (2)
- Japan (2)
- Malaysia (15)
- Philippines (8)
- Singapore (3)
- Sri Lanka (1)
- Taiwan (1)
- Thailand (2)
- Vietnam (2)
Interestingly enough, one of Malaysia’s pubstomps is actually organized by MDeC, the country’s Multimedia Development Corporation. It oversees the Malaysian government’s national information and communication technology initiative. This move comes after Malaysia actively reached out to support Arrow Gaming’s visa applications.
Conversely, the Indonesian government’s recently-announced support for competitive gaming has not extended to its own pubstomp.

New to the hype of The International Dota 2 frenzy and not sure what a pubstomp is? It’s simply a gathering of friends and fans at a local venue to cheer on their favorite teams. Since each pubstomp is individually organized, dates and start times differ, so make sure you take note of what time yours starts. You can get all information on the pubstomps in your respective countries here.
