We’ve got over $250k in prizes for the finalists of Startup Arena Pitch Battle 2023
The 2023 Startup Arena Pitch Battle, a key part of our flagship Tech in Asia Conference, is less than a month away.
Six promising early-stage startups across Asia will show what they’re made of as they compete for prizes and global visibility in this annual competition, pitching to an expert panel of four judges from some of the region’s leading VCs and companies.
Registrations are still open for this year’s Startup Arena, which marks the third time we’ve partnered with East Ventures to stage the event.
Here’s a look at the over US$250,000 worth of exciting prizes we’ve got lined up for the finalists.
First place
- US$10,000 in cash, courtesy of East Ventures
- One ticket to She Loves Tech Global Conference 2023 (worth US$300)
- US$50,000 in Juspay credits
- US$25,000 in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Startup credits
- MSW Ventures industry office hours
Second place
- US$5,000 in cash, courtesy of Rayn Group
- One ticket to She Loves Tech Global Conference 2023 (worth US$300)
- US$30,000 in Juspay credits
- US$25,000 in AWS Startup credits
- MSW Ventures industry office hours
Third place
- US$2,500 in cash, courtesy of Rayn Group
- One ticket to She Loves Tech Global Conference 2023 (worth US$300)
- US$30,000 in Juspay credits

All finalists will also receive Tech in Asia Conference 2023 benefits:
- Two Tech in Asia Conference 2023 exhibitor passes
- A Startup Factory exhibition booth for two days
- Post-event video access to all sessions
Additionally, finalists who are traveling from outside of Indonesia will receive a travel stipend of up to US$1,000.

Here’s the criteria you need to meet to be eligible to join:
- Operate in Southeast Asia
- Have a prototype, minimum viable product, or existing operations
- Have raised less than US$10 million
- Have a compelling English-language pitch explaining the problem, solution, risk, and potential that drives their business
Submissions will close on September 29, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. (GMT+7), so complete your application and send it in ASAP.
