Wanna Play a Classic Beat ’Em Up Game? Indonesian Studio Brings You ‘KungFu Quest: The Jade Tower’

If you loved playing classic fighting games at an arcade, you’ll love this new smartphone game. Indonesia’s IPlayAllDay Studio released its newest game yesterday, KungFu Quest: The Jade Tower, a 2D fighting game for your mobile devices.
The story is about Chong Lee, the evil man who plans to open a portal to summon past and future evils. But he has to reach the sky to open the portal, with the help of Jade Tower. Jackie is given the task by his master of stopping Chong Lee by going to Jade Tower and fighting all the enemy in each levels. The game scrolls to the right as you walk and kick butt.
Gameplay
KungFu Quest: The Jade Tower is definitely a classic-looking game but IPlayAllDay Studio tries to bring your game experience to another level where you can customize the strike moves and create your own fighting combo, as well as to upgrade your fighting stats by changing Jackie’s appearance. You will have to reach the top of Jade Tower by defeating all the enemies on each floor. There are 37 floors divided into seven unique stages. Each stage offers different kinds of enemies and at the end of each stage, you have to fight with different kinds of evil bosses.
Each time you have a new combo (which can be unlocked using the chi orbs), you can practice your movement in the dojo, or just play in ‘free play’ mode.
KungFu Quest: The Jade Tower is available for a free download on both iOS and Android.
(Update: IPlayAllDay Studio also released the flash version today with the name KungFu Quest: Survival. It offers different gameplay where you fight in a dojo and get free items or fighting combos each time you accomplished a mission. The flash version can be played here).
