Malaysia-headquartered serviced office firm vOffice is ramping up its operations in Asia with further expansions into Indonesia. A few months back, it opened an office in the Philippines.
The Indonesian space is located in Grand Silip Tower in Slipi, Jakarta. It is also set to open another office by February next year at Simatupang, Jakarta, for a total of seven branches.
Existing vOffices in Jakarta are located at Sudirman Central Business District, Mega Kuningan, Thamein and Kebon Jeruk.
vOffice Indonesia Group managing director Sean Tam says the location of its Jakarta offices are closely-situated within popular universities and startup communities in Jakarta.
He adds that operating from vOffice will help startups cut costs as it can be cheaper than working from coffee shops such as Starbucks. Its office space costs a minimum of $50 per month. It can go up, depending on services available.
VOffice is providing 2,000 free vStartup packs to Indonesian startups to help jumpstart their businesses. Apart from the working space, it gives startups an office address and phone number, meeting facilities and internet connection. This subscription can be used by startups for three months.
It also provides them a vOffice Elite card which gives access to vOffice centers in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines.
Currently, vOffice is present in a number of countries in the Asia Pacific region including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
