Indonesia is the fourth most populous country in the world. Interestingly, the share of the population – as much as 275 million people by the first half of 2022 – is nearly equal between men and women.
With a large and balanced population – and a majority of them being of working age – Indonesia is an attractive market for various industries, particularly beauty commerce.

Many of these players carry out the direct-to-consumer concept, which combines product sales channels through websites, apps, and ecommerce platforms.
