When it still operated in the country, business teams at Royal Bank of Scotland in India often waited weeks for technical departments to process basic data requests. Gaurav Shinh experienced this bottleneck firsthand while serving as the bank’s COO.

He partnered with Rohit Kumar to launch ScikIQ with the goal of helping non-technical users access enterprise data independently.

😟 Problem

Over 85% of AI projects fail to reach production due to fragmented enterprise data. Mid-to-large enterprises struggle with ungoverned information locked in dozens of disconnected legacy systems.

This fragmented setup can slow reporting, limit automation, and make it harder for companies to deploy AI tools across daily operations.

💡 Solution

The startup provides an AI readiness layer that connects fragmented systems into a unified platform without requiring companies to replace their current infrastructure.

The platform offers several core features.

  • Creates unified data hubs linking HR, procurement, and finance systems.
  • Enables conversational analytics through plain English queries.
  • Deploys intelligent agents to automate complex workflows and calculations.
