Meta releases its own version of DALL-E 2
Text-to-image AI generation is the hot algorithmic creative tool right now.
In April, US-based R&D firm OpenAI launched DALL-E 2, which creates images out of text prompts. Research lab Midjourney soon launched its own version of the program, with the intent to “expand the imaginative powers of the human species.”
Tech giant Meta decided to get in on the trend, releasing Make-A-Scene earlier this month. Make-A-Scene sets itself apart from other tools by using both text prompts and sketches to generate high-definition visuals .
Many are excited at how quickly the tech will progress and how it will change the advertising, media, and art sectors.
