A group of researchers in China’s Zhejiang University has developed a drone swarm capable of flying through dense forest efficiently, unmanned. The use of a trajectory planner helps the drones detect obstacles and readjust its flight course in real time.
While the drone swarm can be used in wildlife surveillance and searching for missing persons, experts are expressing concerns that the tech could be repurposed as a weapon.
