As we approach the final weeks of 2024, I’ve been doing some reflecting. One of the things lingering in my mind is how much I’ve been pushed and pulled by shifting winds in contrast to how much I’ve stuck to my initial plans and intentions for the year.
To be clear, it’s not inherently wrong to deviate from your pre-determined path when detours come up. The key lies in whether doing so ultimately serves your big-picture goal.
On the balance of things, I think I’ve accomplished more than I have flubbed, although the journey has been quite difficult, especially as fatigue started kicking in toward the end.
