Hello reader,

Do you ever wonder how much life has changed, thanks to technology? Just 10 years ago, we were mostly transacting in cash and hailing taxis off the street. To get meals delivered, the only real options you had were the fast food joints – I still remember the jingle for KFC and Pizza Hut delivery in Singapore, which included the number to call.

But a look at our top-funded companies of the week shows just how tremendously different our world is now.

From one of the largest mobile payment apps in India to a company that’s taking laundry and dry cleaning services online, there’s no denying that tech has had a major impact on our lives. It will certainly continue to do so, and I’m excited about what innovation is coming up next.
