Hello TIA community,

I’m Amit Saberwal, founder and CEO of RedDoorz, a leading budget hotel online booking platform in Southeast Asia. I founded the company in 2015 to disrupt the budget hospitality sector, which lacked standardized budget hotels, guesthouses, and a budget brand.

To date, RedDoorz has over 500 properties across 16 cities in Indonesia. We have also been expanding in Singapore (where we are headquartered) and the Philippines.

Prior to RedDoorz, I was the chief business officer for hotel and international markets at MakeMyTrip.com, India’s premier travel and airline booking site. There, I was part of the leadership team that brought the company to IPO in 2010.
