Cranky when hungry? Uber inside Zomato lets you find a restaurant and a cab to get there

Do you get irrational, impatient, and irritable when you’re hungry? I do.
To find a restaurant in one app, then go to another app to hail a cab and give directions can make you cranky when your stomach is growling. So Uber and Zomato have found a way to lift your mood.
Now you will see the Uber icon right next to the address of any restaurant you find on Zomato. One tap and you’re on your way.
A tie-up between Uber and Zomato makes this seamless experience available in 27 cities across 13 countries, as of now. These include India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Portugal, Qatar, Turkey, the UAE, and the United States. More cities will be added as Zomato continues its global expansion.
The feature is already live in London and South Africa, and will be rolled out in the other markets in the coming few days, says a press release from Zomato.
Well, that’s one less reason to get cranky. Now, if only the traffic would clear up to get to that restaurant before the blood boils over!
