Mark Zuckerberg is TIME’s 2010 Person of the Year

mark-zuckerberg“For connecting more than half a billion people and mapping the social relations among them; for creating a new system of exchanging information; and for changing how we all live our lives, Mark Elliot Zuckerberg is TIME’s 2010 Person of the Year.” That was how TIME described and gave recognition to Mark Zuckerberg.

His great work goes beyond just Facebook. Zuckerberg has been generous when it comes to charity work.

He has recently pledge at least half of his wealth to Giving Pledge, a foundation led by Microsoft founder Bill Gates and investor Warren Buffett to commit the country’s wealthiest people to step up their charitable donations.

He is a role model for our generation, not because he is TIME’s 2010 Person of the Year but for all the great work and inspiration he has given to the world.
