Daniel Raffel, the senior product manager in Yahoo has an interesting background. In another point of his life, he worked as a four star chef in Thomas Keller’s NYC restaurant. As a Product Manager at Yahoo, he helped create and launch Pipes , a web based composition tool to aggregate, manipulate and mashup content from around the web. Also during his tenure at Yahoo, Daniel contributed to launching Yahoo Messenger’s VoIP efforts. Previously, he was the Director of Product Management at Pioneers of the Inevitable, working on Songbird , an open-source, customizable music player. Daniel has also worked in a variety of technology roles at ABC News Online, bthere.tv, CondeNet, and NYU’s Innovation Center lab.
