Traveloka joins $36m round of East Ventures-backed Sirclo
Indonesian ecommerce enabler Sirclo said it has raised US$36 million in its latest round of funding.

- The ecommerce firm offers a software-as-a-service solution called Sirclo Store, which helps brands sell online through multiple channels such as websites, marketplaces, and conversational commerce platforms. Sirclo will use the fresh funds to develop its technology infrastructure and expand its services.
- The company also provides its users a dashboard that can generate real-time data analytics across multiple ecommerce platforms. In addition, it is developing a financing solution catered to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
- Sirclo said it has recorded a fivefold increase in transactions during the pandemic, propelled by a shift in consumer behavior amid Covid-19.
- In April, the company acquired Orami, an online parenting platform backed by East Ventures, for an undisclosed sum.
- Sirclo posted a positive net operational income by the end of 2020, with a combined turnover of US$227.6 million.
