FTV Labs, Kegmil’s parent company, was backed by Mitsubishi Electric’s ME Innovation Fund as well as by Global Brain Corporation, Origgin Capital, GHV Accelerator, and Plug and Play Indonesia

Founded in 2018, Kegmil digitizes the record keeping process done by field staff. It serves players in manufacturing, construction, logistics, and other related industries, with most of its clients being based in Southeast Asia.

Following the deal, Mitsubishi Electric and FTV Labs will collaborate to expand their business in Southeast Asia. Kegmil has already listed job openings for software development and marketing, with positions available in Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore.

“With rising demand for essential technical services and talent shortage, Kegmil aims to empower millions of deskless professionals with workflow automation and mobile-first technologies to drive operational efficiency, service performance, and knowledge retention,” said Kelvin Ong, FTV Labs co-founder and CEO.
